Plant Photo Bank of China (PPBC), in the national science and technology platform under the project research institute, IB-cas set full-time plants pictures herbarium management agency. [Data safety storage] USE DELL high-speed data servers and 15T MD1000 disk array protect by Raid 6 dual redundant of hardware.Can effectively preserve 300 million pictures which size is 4M.For all the data backup DVD double, and updated again each 3 years.in order to ensure that the backup data of digital images and absolute safety.
[Digital arrangement] High quality to scan all the slide, film by Nikon professional film scanners,convenient experts arrangement and improve management efficiency.
[Professional pictures online finishing platform] PPBC website and entities and www.CVH.org.cn close cooperation,provide an efficient, pictures and sharing transmission platform for experts and scholars.
